Publisher’s Weekly discusses his work in “A Poet’s Cover: Jeff Clark breathes new life into indie book design.” Finally, Jeff’s design for Sleeping It Off in Rapid City by August Kleinzahler receives high praise in The Guardian. To see some samples, visit the Quemadura website.

Tom Pickard recently completed a six-week tour of the United States, reading largely from Ballad of Jamie Allan (currently going into its second printing). This recording of “Hidden Agenda” (from Orono, Maine, 8 October 2008) hits the perfect note for our election season. You can also hear Tom’s lovely “Strung Out on Hangingshaw” from the same event: “just clash it up, man.”
Thanks to Steve Evans for the photo and recordings.
